New expansion into the Rochester, NY market has created a need for us to hire a new Nurse Practitioner (NP). The position offers independence and excellent benefits from a Fortune 100 healthcare leader. The hired NP will be doing direct care among a geriatric population.



Key responsibilities include:


Managing a patient load of about 80 members throughout the Rochester region


Primarily working out of one or two facilities


Working closely with primary care physicians and nursing staff, performing physicals and geriatric assessments, prescribing medications and ordering lab results
Acting as primary contact with the facility

Job Requirements:

Only licensed NPs certified in geriatrics, adult or family practice will be considered for this position. You must also be generally computer proficient, and willing to travel in the Rochester market. We prefer candidates with experience in long term care and/or managed care. A Master's degree is essential. If you meet these requirements, and you are an energetic and organized individual, you could be the ideal candidate for this position.
