Nurse Practitioner - Jefferson Center for Vascular Diseases

The Jefferson Center for Vascular Diseases has a full time position for a Nurse Practitioner.

This individual will provide outpatient care to patients at the Center. The Nurse Practitioner will work in coordination with the physicians in the office to provide comprehensive treatment in this specialized field. The individual will provide safe, effective care to the vascular population under the supervision of a physician.

The positions responsibilities include:
Gathering patient data prior to visit.
Assisting with obtaining the medical history, assessment plan, and document information in the electronic health record.
Coordinating follow up care based on physician recommendation.
Assisting in the coordination of bridge therapy for patients needing anticoagulation during procedures. This includes interaction with insurance companies for approval of medication.
Telephone triage, follow up, and patient education.
REQUIREMENTS
MSN preferred , phlebotomy, EKG.
CRNP current PA licensure.
Research experience preferred.
