Nurse Practitioner,Employee/Occupational Health Care

Provides primary care to employee and occupational health department clients while functioning within the guidelines and requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice. The Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of the health care team and collaborates closely with the physicians, nurses and other midlevel providers while reporting to the Director of Employee and Occupational Health.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: Nurse Practitioner. Minimum Experience: One year experience in Occupational Healthcare, functioning as a Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing; prescriptive authority; national certification. Preferred Experience: Two years experience in Occupational Healthcare; functioning as a Nurse Practitioner. Req. Certification/Registration/License: Advanced Practice License for the State of Colorado.
Required Course(s)/Training: Basic Life Support.
