The Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) is to provide mental health services to Oncology patients. The ARNP works independently as well as collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate care. The ARNP functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate. The ARNP demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice, clinical competency and professional development. The ARNP serves in a clinical role to assist the physician in ensuring total quality patient care. Masters degree in Nursing required.
Nurse Practitioner/CNS (ARNP) with current, active licensure in the State of Kentucky and Indiana (as applicable) including RN licensure. Current CPR required.
Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.
Work Experience:Minimum 3 years previous nursing experience required. Oncology nursing experience preferred. Previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
