Full-Time Exempt Opportunity availableGeneral Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing departmental activities to ensure quality services for both internal and external customers. Manages resources and leads staff in collaboration with others to advance the hospital mission. Seven (7) day a week, 24 hour a day responsibility for one unit or small scope service areas. Assists with the developing, reviewing and planning the implementation of Patient Care Division programs, policies, and procedures. Accountable for financial operations and implementation of CHMC's (and service line) goals within their area of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: BSN required. Masters Degree in nursing or related field preferred. Three or more years progressive experience in area of expertise, with two years experience in a nursing leadership role preferred. Licensure in the state of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
