Nurse Manager - Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit

Accountable for 24 hour management of a patient care unit. Partners with physicians and other disciplines to assure quality patient/family centered care.
REQUIREMENTS
successful candidate does not possess a Master-s degree, they must commence a Master-s program within twelve months of hire date; completion of a Master-s degree is required within four years of hire date. Must have 5 years relevant clinical nursing experience. Must have previous experience in program or project leadership. Must possess strong communication skills, teamwork (demonstrated ability to build team and integrate existing teams), and experience within complex organization environments. This position may be eligible for faculty appointment with the School of Nursing. Preferred: Minimum 5 years management experience.
