Nursing Positions - CNA / Resident Care Assistant
***We currently have 4 nursing positions that we are looking to fill with licensed, qualified candidates and 2 Resident Care Assistant positions for CBRF certified caregivers.
In addition to our nurse openings, we also have a strong need for a House Keeper opening.

NURSING POSITION #1
Certified Nursing Assistant
CNA - Full Time
Position Description:
Full time with generous benefits Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, provide residents with routine daily nursing care and service including medications in accordance to resident's care plan. Includes every third weekend & holidays. 32 hours per week.
Function Areas:
Administering medication to the residents as ordered by the physicians in a safe and efficient manner.
Providing indirect consultation with physician, consulting pharmacist and charge nurse and documenting accurately and timely.
Such duties and responsibilities will be performed timely and accurately in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and current acceptable policies, procedures and principles relating to the operation of the facility
Essential Knowledge and Abilities:
CNA is required to hold a current unencumbered certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in this state.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work cooperatively with residents, families, employees, physicians, and outside vendors.

Certified Nursing Assistant
CNA - Full Time - PM Shift
Position Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurses, the nursing assistant (CNA) performs those duties assigned directly and indirectly that are necessary to provide nursing care in a safe, healthy environment.
Function Areas:
Assist residents in gaining independence in activities of daily living.
Perform assigned nursing assistant procedures
Keep resident and other residents safe by minimal directed use of protective restraints.
Participate in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and wholesome environment.
Participate in staff development programs.
Assists with resident's independence in activities of daily living including Personal Hygiene, Grooming, Feeding, Activity, Rest, and Communication
Essential Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to demonstrate desirable work habits including dependability.
Ability to work cooperatively with residents, families, and other employees.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to maintain self-control under difficult situations.
Qualifications:
Should at least have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion of nursing assistant training course.
Current on State and Federal Registry.
NURSING POSITION #3
Certified Nursing Assistant - NOC Shift

RESIDENT CARE ASSISTANT - CBRF
Position Description
The Resident Care Assistant is responsible for the day to day provision of direct care for the resident of the facility. The position requires assissting with daily operation of the Facility, as well as documentation and reporting of residents' health and participatory staturs as determined in each resident's Individual Service Plan
Responsibilities
Provision of direct services to residents.
Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed, ensuring optimal health and safety of each resident.
Monitors the health and emotional status of each resident.
Follows physician orders, including the supervision and documentation of medicine intake.
A+ activity programs assist with resident's participation according to individual needs.
Participates in regular staff meetings.
Provisions of nutritional and dietary services to residents.
Serves meals and prepares snacks.
Follows special dietary requirements according to physician's orders as needed by individual residents.
Family Support
Assists family members in their understanding of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia when appropriate.
Assists family members in maintaining a healthy relationship with their relative residing in the facility.
Provides ongoing information to family members and is available for questions and concerns as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
All candidates applying for these opportunities must have the required certification for each position in addition to a minimum of six months experience in a nursing home, hospital, home health agency, or other health care facility.
