Celebrating our new patient tower with your nursing leadership skills.Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital, located in southwest Tarrant County is expanding to meet the healthcare delivery needs or our rapidly growing community. A full-service hospital built with its patients in mind, Harris Methodist Southwest offers comprehensive health-care services, exceptional physicians, advanced technology and a steadfast commitment to quality. Our personal approach to health care includes 24-hour emergency services, progressive and traditional options in maternity care, a convenient and extensive mall for outpatient services, full-service inpatient care and educational classes. Opening in October 2006, our most significant expansion since we embarked in 1987 is the new five-floor tower, which includes additional sub acute and intensive care beds, a new acute care (med/surg) floor and an expanded women?s services unit. Upon completion we will open a new 20-bed critical care unit with some of the latest technology. The project will more than double the size of our hospital!
We are currently seeking Nurse Managers for our Acute Care (med/surg) Unit and our Critical Care Unit ? one of the first steps of our multi-year leadership plan. Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 3 years of progressive clinical leadership experience and a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in nursing and clinical specialty certifications (i.e. CCRN, PCCN, etc.) The selected applicants will enjoy the benefits Texas Health Resources offers; including medical, dental, paid time off and immediate match in our 401k.
