ResponsibilitiesManages the functions of the contract office for the NYPH and Network partners for those agreements under the control of corporate purchasing, and as assigned. Responsibilities include the organization of a contract standard for the enterprise. Functions as the lead representative for Resource & Materials Management in the development and management of related business contracts. Performs and leads cost Savings and Reporting for the department. BA in Business or a related field. Certification/participation in a professionally related society a plus. Minimum of 6 years successful experience in the management of contracts or in procurement related environment. Demonstrated expertise in contract development and procurement related contract legal requirements. Strong organizational and analytical capabilities. Knowledge of the procurement function, preferably in a healthcare setting. Good computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheet and database applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
