Territory Manager to Manage Vet Sales for New York to earn uncapped commission --Must have Capital Equipment Experience
(Capital Equipment Sales Rep-Hematology and Chemistry Analyzers)This is a direct sales position managing a large client base (600 – 700) of veterinary establishments. Territory Managers will be measured against a quarterly quota.Major Responsibilities:
Selling companion animal (dog and cat) pharmaceuticals, vaccines and diagnostics (including instruments) to veterinarians.Cold calls
Distributing information
Giving product demonstrations
Territory analysis and forecasting
Assessing and qualifying clinic needsClosing sales
Demonstrating excellent customer serviceTerritory is New York City based out of New York. Relocation assistance is not available at this time, and candidates should live within 45 minutes of New york. Base, uncapped commission, company car, home office setup, medical and dental benefits included.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, arts, science, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solutions-oriented team player that can effectively manage issues to a successful resolution with sales management and corporate members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to track progress and communicate results on a weekly basis to regional manager.
High initiative and drive
Ability to work independently from home office
Ability to travel within assigned region (ongoing) and to regional trade shows/ conventions (as needed).
Territory analysis and forecasting ability
Assessing and qualifying customer needs
Customer service excellence focusPreferred:
2-8 years of experience directly selling products or services to companies; selling medical capital equipment a plus.
Experience working on a base plus commission basisExperience working in a territory or fixed region Experience managing distributors
Track record of success; proven experience in exceeding quotas
Successful management of client expectations and follow through on client needs
