We are currently seeking a Medical Technologist for our Hematology department in Baltimore, MD. While adhering to the QC/QA policies of the company, the successful candidate will perform moderately complex testing, along with routine and non-routine activities, pertaining to lab testing and reporting of results.
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, one must possess:
B.S./B.A. in Medical Technology; ASCP registry or equivalent
2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferably in Hematology/Coagulation/Urinalysis/Blood Bank/Hemoglobin A1C
Knowledge in Hematology methodologies
Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems that may adversely affect test performance
