Under general supervision, this full time night position (Sunday - Thursday) will perform analytical processing for moderate and all high complexity testing within area of expertise. Meets CLIA personnel standards and completes required competencies for the testing performed. Current knowledge of all areas of the Lab including Blood bank required.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Licensure:
·MT(ASCP), CLS-AMT, HEW, NCA or equivalent certification or registry eligible; OR
·Baccalaureate degree from a USA accredited college or university in the area of specialty with at least one year of clinical experience in the area of specialty; OR
·A validated non-USA baccalaureate with a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in the USA in the area of specialty within the last 10 years; OR

·Professional discretion with patient information
·Ability to communicate effectively with other hospital personnel and with patients
·Rigid accuracy in the identification and reporting of number, names and results

Other Requirements/Exposure Potential:
1.Requires fine motor coordination, clear speech, normal hearing, and good visual acuity including color perception.
2.Occasionally, light lifting is necessary.
3.Mobility by walking or in a wheelchair is required.
4.Requires a willingness to work shifts and/or weekends.
6.Awareness that exposure to bloodborne pathogens or infectious materials may result from performance of daily duties.
