Medical Records - HIM Tech III – Advancement Opportunity!

If you have 1-2 years hospital work experience doing prepping, scanning & indexing of medical records, then you may be ready for the next step – HIM Tech III! The Tech III must be willing and able to do prepping, scanning & indexing as needed. In addition to those duties, the Tech III will do quality reviews, double numbers, security audits, record pick-up & check-in, and assist physicians with the electronic medical record system.
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent. 1-2 years recent hospital experience in an HIM department handling inpatient & outpatient medical records. Prefer individual who has worked in an electronic medical records environment. Must be organized, detail-oriented, be a problem solver, and have intermediate levels PC skills.
