Or,like the Infinity Stylus, one of the best-selling cameras in history.West Charlotte, NC - The Medical Products Sales Representative achieves maximum product sales and profit, increasing the Division's market share in designated territory. Responsible for product sales and service, general management, and business record keeping of a designated territory, as well as to keep current in the knowledge of the healthcare industry to reach sales goals while complying with Olympus's Policies and Procedures. Identifies and pursues business at the account level by making routine calls to existing customers or to new customers. Implements business development strategy for all product groups within ED by determining "key" decision-makers, and devising plans to establish Olympus product use in individual, major, and key accounts. Understands and utilizes group contracts whenever possible, assuring appropriate compliance and working in conjunction with Regional and National Accounts managers when necessary. Maintains a level of performance in a specified territory which meets or exceeds the sales objective established by the company. Develops and maintains effective knowledge of competition, products, strategies, organization, etc. Adheres to Olympus Sales Agreement and company policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) A minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical field (preferably in capital equipment) with the demonstrated ability to sell on a commission basis is required. Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office), and strong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must possess a high degree of initiative and creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision. A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (or the equivalent knowledge) is required.
