The Imprimis Group is currently hiring Medical Payment Posters for contract to hire opportunities in a prime Richardson location! Job responsibilities include the following: * Post personal and insurance payments, insurance write-offs, charge adjustments, deductibles, co-pays, and non-covered amounts at the patient charge line level. Balance all adjustments and payments posted daily in Medic with deposit and print Medic summary page. * Review EOB's and personal payments to determine overpayments made by payers and/or patients. Complete refund request and forward to Refund Representative. * Determine if COB situation is present. If so release secondary claims and copy primary EOB. * Review non-payment EOB to determine responsibility of non-covered/ineligible charges and post appropriate 9000 denial code. * Re-file any unpaid charges that are not acknowledged on the EOB to be correct payer.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include the following: * 2 to 3 years of recent medical payment posting experience in Texas * Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and Worker's Comp experience A PLUS * Back office experience in a doctor's office a plus * Stable work history * Exposure to Texas rules and regulations * Data entry skills * Medical software and/or Access knowledge * Highschool diploma or equivalent * Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check Positions are located in A PROMINENT FIRM in Richardson.
