Medical Laboratory Technologist

DESCRIPTION: The Rogosin Institute, a non-profit medical research and healthcare organization affiliated with NY Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell-Weill Medical School and Rockefeller University, seeks a Medical Technologist to work in our clinical research laboratory located at the prestigious Rockefeller University campus. The Medical Technologist performs various clinical and research tests on body fluids. He/she verifies all patient results and maintains records according to the New York State Department of Health requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS: The individual preferably has:3 years of clinical laboratory experiencea BS in medical technology ASCP preferredexperience using Roche instruments (Integra, Hitachi 912), Abbott TDx, Ims and Bayer Advia 120Cerner LIS experience is desirable along with computer competency, strong organizational, solid communication skills and a professional demeanor
