Medical Information Management Team Leader

This team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, assembling, data completion, filing and retrieval of the inpatient, outpatient, emergency room and ambulatory surgery records. The release of information staff respond to requests for copies of medical records. The leader of this team must interact constantly with medical staff, medical staff secretaries, insurance company representatives, nursing unit staff, patients and their representatives, hospital staff and others requiring patient information.
REQUIREMENTS
Registered as an Accredited Record Technician by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Health Information Management experience required. Previous supervisor experience preferred.
