Medical Coder - Emergency Medicine

CBIZ Medical Management Professionals, Inc. (MMP), a national provider of outsourced billing and practice management services, has immediate openings for an Emergency Medicine Medical Coder to serve MMP’s hospital based physician clients in the Leawood, Kansas area.

Responsibilities of this multi-faceted position will include participation in internal coding audits, assistance with various specialty coding needs, completion of daily coding assignments, assistance with internal training programs, and other duties as needed. Improving internal coding competencies will be a primary focus of this position.

Job requirements include coding experience of 2+ years in ED coding, excellent communication skills, coding certification (CPC, CCS-P, etc.) and high school or equivalency required.
