Med Device Manufacturing Technician

Purpose: We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing Technician for a medical device manufacturer in Draper, UT. This company is a leader in the manufacture of medical devices, particularly plastic injection molded devices.

We are looking for someone to oversee a group of machines, including training operators, troubleshooting the machines, and completing FDA documentation and paperwork related to the machines. This person should have a background working with manufacturing machinery, and have a strong mechanical aptitude. This person should also be familiar with using computers, especially Word and Excel. A significant amount of this person's time will be spent doing the documentation that goes along with the medical device manufacturing process, so this person will need to be comfortable with that and have the skills to do that.

This is a contract to hire position. The person may be required to work 12 hour rotating shifts, some graveyard shifts will be involved.
