Job Summary:This position is responsible for the daily operations and creative development of VitalityforLife.com as well as supporting the ongoing efforts of Vitality for Live product category.Manages the daily activities of Vitality for Life website including tips, bulletin boards, chat groups, contests, sucess stories, etc.Lead chat groups and on-line contests as well as provide personal coaching to clientele. M
anages website content and databases including the creation of new content and expansion of the databases to better serve existing clientele and to target new populations.Collect and report data related to usage and participant progress. This would include designing and implantation of research programs that demonstrates product efficiency.Develop and deliver training to personnel on the website so that they can better understand its functionality and represent it to clientele.Participate and support VFL efforts such as product development, research, marketing and promotion.Provide professional reviews and opinions related to nutrition, exercise, and wellness.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in either nutrition/dietetics, exercis science or health related areas.
Experience writing for general public as well as health care professional peers.
Background in exercise and wellness promotion.
Knowledgeable of internet based nutrition programs.
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Enthusiastic and team-oriented.
