Manager of Materiel Operations

Classification: ManagementDuties and Responsibilities:
Duties:Provide strategic support and the daily management, inventory control, PAR replenishment process, mail room management, customer service and support. Provide back-up support for the manager on daily warehouse and equipment room operations, The successful candidate will have a proven track record of customer support, staff development and education and the ability to lead a diverse group of team members in the achievement of system and department goals and objectives.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education, or a related field; Five years inventory management experience, three of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.Must possess knowledge of inventory control, and materiel logistics and mail room operations. Knowledge of shipping, receiving and general management quality controls. Strong leadership and supervisory background. Expert knowledge of the preparation and understanding of financial and statistical activity reports. Excellent oral and written communication. Proficient skill in relationship building with all levels of Staff, including Management and Nursing. Experience with Computer Based Materiel Management Software (HBOC, PMM ) or equivalent proficiency in Management Systems preferred. Position reports to Director of Logistics, Materiel Management
