Manager/Supervisor-Health Information Management-SIGN-ON
If you have been a team lead or supervisor in a hospital HIM department and are ready to make a change, this role may be the perfect step for you! As a direct report to the Director of HIM, the Manager/Supervisor will be responsible for the medical records operations & the supervision of the 10 technical staff of the HIM Department which includes: ROI, transcription, chart prepping, scanning & indexing, analysis, birth certificates, physician suspension, data analysis, correction, and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
RHIA or RHIT and minimum 2-3 years team lead or supervisory work experience in a hospital HIM department preferred. Must have a strong background of progressive HIM work experience prior to the lead/supervisory experience. Electronic medical record experience preferred.
