Manager, Purchasing (Infusion)

Responsibilities include:
• Contract bid preparation, analysis and amendment processes including supplier recommendations and preparation of final contracts
• Supplier issue resolution and conducting supplier business review meetings
• Strong understanding of products used for infusion services and enterals
• Implement and maintain controls to ensure expenditures are adequately controlled
• Recommend, implement and maintain policies and procedures concerning procurement of quality products/services in such a manner that maximum value is obtained for corporate dollars expended
• Monitor compliance with all inventory purchasing agreements to ensure maximum cost savings
• Negotiate and contract for selected major supplies
• Evaluate the current supply base and develop new or existing suppliers to support future requirements
• Serve in an advisory capacity to field locations to help support local/regional demand
• Ensure project deadlines and performance standards are established and met

REQUIREMENTS
Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required, along with 5-8 years direct work experience in delivery of infusion healthcare or other related clinical experience in sales, marketing or product development of infusion related medical products and pharmaceuticals.
