Manager, Product Management

HealthFirst was established in 1993, owned by some of the most prestigious and nationally recognized medical centers and hospitals located in New York with a unique mission: to serve as a provider - owned, non-profit healthcare management organization and healthcare delivery system that ensures surplus dollars are used to improve health services in the communities we serve.We currently have an opening for a Manager in our Product and Program Management department.

Key Responsibilities:

?Maintain all member letters and update or create new communication when required.
?Catalogue and maintain approved communication materials.
?Write policies and procedures for Product Management Department.
?Facilitate cross departmental workgroups related to products including creating monthly product summary report for management.
?Monitor progress and prepare reports related to various Product Management projects.
?Compile competitive market research for Medicare products.
?Develop framework, tools, and process workflows to assist in the implementation of product changes.
?Assist the Product and Program Management Department in coordinating internal and external communication about products and program changes.
?Research issues identified by all departments related to products and identify solution to resolve issue and prevent from reoccurring.
?Responsible for ensuring appropriate and consistent member materials are produced and distributed.
?Work with the Regulatory Affairs Department to receive approval of materials
REQUIREMENTS
•Experienced health care professional who is able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
•Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, presentations).
•Detailed knowledge of healthcare, specifically managed care operations.
•Must possess a strong understanding of the healthcare industry marketplace.
•Minimum of three years experience in health care operations or regulatory compliance.
•Requires strong analytic, strategic and planning skills.
•Demonstrated ability to manage and organize complex projects and prepare reports for senior management.


Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree required preferably in public health, public policy or business administration.
•Demonstrated ability to analyze operational workflows and processes to determine appropriate action to resolve issue or implement change.
•Experience in managed healthcare or ancillary healthcare services industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, diagnostics)
