Manager, Payer Contracting (Managed Care)

Diverse, West suburban health care provider organization is seeking a Manager of Payer Contracting (Managed Care) in response to significant new organizational growth.

The Manager of Payer Contracting will be responsible for all aspects of payer contracting, payer relationship management, contract implementation, results monitoring, analysis and reporting while also serving as the key internal resource for training/education related to contracts and payer's contracts.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (required), Masters Degree (preferred)
- Minimum 4-6 years experience directly negotiating managed care payer contracts in the health care industry and a minimum of 2-3 years experience managing relationships with payers and implementing/analyzing managed care payer contracts. Experience performing internal education related to contracts is helpful
- Strong grasp of medical & contract terminology required.
