Manager, Health Information (Medical Records)
Providence St. Peter Hospital in Southwest Washington State is currently recruiting a fulltime Manager for our Health Information department (Medical Records). This position plans, organizes and directs the provision of medical record services; establishes policies, procedures, standards and departmental objectives; is responsible for all functions, including coding and abstracting, data integrity and reporting, AR management, transcription, privacy rules and regulations, and record processing, completion, storage and retrieval.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of an AHIMA accredited Health Information Technology (HIT) program or an AHIMA approved HIA program and Accredited RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) required. Any combination of education and experience that provides the employee with the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the job will be considered.
Experience: Previous broad and intensive experience in substantially all phases of work in the medical records field sufficient for the employee to develop mastery of the field; usually interpreted as 5-8 years of experience.
Salary range: $26.03 - $38.71
