Manager, HR Benefits & Retirement

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which manages and operates Ronald Reagan Washington National and Washington Dulles International Airports, seeks a seasoned Manager for its Benefit and Retirement Programs. Under the general supervision of the Vice President for Human Resources, the Manager of the Retirement and Benefits Department works through subordinate supervisors to ensure that the retirement and benefits programs align with the Strategic Initiatives of the Authority. Provides direct staff support to the Committee that serves as Trustee for the Authority’s Retirements plans and employee benefit funds. Develops and maintains a heath and wellness strategy and coordinates development of strategic partnerships with other organizations to promote improved health of Authority employees.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a bachelor’s degree. Advanced management training or education is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with formal boards Committees that exercised fiduciary responsibilities, and extensive upper echelon management experiences in multiple organizations; experience in developing health and wellness strategies for complex organizations. Extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements that affect employee benefits programs, such as ADA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA and HRS required.
