Manager Cardiothoracic Research

We are currently recruiting for a Research Manager who will maintain the overall responsibility for managing clinical research projects for our Cardiothoracic Surgeons. The position will lead the project team ensuring the delivery of high quality projects on time and within established budgets. Responsibilities will include assisting in the evaluation of prospective studies, implementing and managing studies in accordance with approved protocols and promoting research awareness within the practice. The position will assist physicians in the development of final reports by drafting abstracts, reports, and manuscripts. The ability to perform statistical analyze is highly desirable.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate may be a Registered Nurse with a BA/BS in nursing or may be degreed in clinical pharmacology, the life sciences, or have a medically related degree. An advanced degree is highly preferred along with 3-5 years experience in a private practice, pharmaceutical/biotech, hospital research, or CRO setting. Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills is highly desirable along with experience overseeing day-to-day activities of team members, which will include RNs, while working closely with sponsor team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of critical information.
