Associates degree required

Certification Required

1-2 years experience is required
Under moderate supervision, conducts various magnetic resonance imaging exams to assist physicians with diagnosis and therapeutic interventions; confers with radiologist regarding protocols, explains procedures and special requirements to patients, evaluates image quality, provides instruction to new technolgist with regard to equipment operation, participates in Quality Assurance program, etc.; cleans and maintains equipment; monitors inventory to ensure appropriate levels are maintained, etc. Patients serviced include neo-natal through adult geriatric. One (1) year experience in diagnostic radiology. AA degree in radiologic technology or graduate of a certified and approved two-year hospital-based program. Registered (or registry eligible) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, certified by MD Board of Physician Quality Assurance, CPR certification.
