Medical Professional – Athletic Trainer

OrthoRx, Inc. is a leader in providing management and administration of orthotic and durable medical equipment programs for orthopedic physician practices. We manage all aspects of the program for the physician-client, including but not limited to: inventory management, proper product fitting and adjustment, patient education, claim pre-certification and authorization, billing paperwork management, and collection services.

OrthoRx, Inc. needs you to manage our DME and bracing programs within a local orthopedic practice in the Coos Bay area.

•As our DME Coordinator, you will partner with orthopedic physicians, clinical and surgery center staff to ensure the highest level of quality patient care and excellent customer service.

•Your medical experience will assure proper fit, set-up and instruction to patients on the safe and appropriate use of DME products

•You will provide information to patients on the application, use, care and maintenance of DME products as provided by physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations

•You will also assist patients in working with their insurance plans to determine their financial responsibility and collection of the patient portion

•As part of your responsibilities you will assure that all compliance, policy and procedural guidelines are followed, maintain related records, prepare reports and other administrative duties.

•You will provide exceptional teamwork with your local patients, physicians and staff and your remote OrthoRx support team

To qualify for this great opportunity you are required to have Excellent Patient Service Skills, a BOC Certification and experience within a related medical profession.

Highest consideration will be given to Certified Orthotic Fitters, Certified Athletic Trainers, Orthopedic Techs, Physical Therapy Assistants or Medical Assistants.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•Excellent Patient / Customer Service
•BA / BS OR 2 years related medical experience
•Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
•Medical knowledge to include anatomy and terminology
•Desire and ability to work in an autonomous environment
•Prefer Advanced Degree, Licensed or NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Orthotic Fitter or comparable professional certification
