MAJOR PROGRAMS MANAGER (JOB # 13891)
Portland, OR

Manage projects in the following position:
Manage the tactical execution of projects that comprise elements of a phase of a major program or support the program integration office
Participate and contribute to strategy discussion to support projects or programs
Responsible for day to day management of multiple project teams comprised of business, technology and vendor/consulting resources
Work closely with Program leadership, business leadership and program support staff
Responsible for successful implementation of Program deliverables within scope, on time and on budget
Report to Assistant Director in Major Programs
REQUIREMENTS
Combine your healthcare and project management experience with the following skills:
Minimum of 8 years of management or equivalent roles in healthcare or related industry required; minimum of 8 years experience in the management and execution of large projects required
Demonstrated understanding and effective use of project management methods, processes and tools
Leadership skills in matrixed reporting relationships, with a proven ability to evaluate and improve team performance
Ability to manage large project teams and deliver effective results
Superb judgment, problem solving, analytical and cognitive, oral and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated track record of successful execution of complex, enterprise-wide projects.
Ability to plan, organize, budget, prioritize and execute work within scope, time, resource and budget constraints
Ability to lead, direct and manage activities of diverse teams of consulting, contractor, management and staff members
Bachelor's Degree in business management or computer science; OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
