MA/Limited X-Ray - Bone Density Tech

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Assistant/Limited X-Ray with Bone Density experience, however, we can train on site for bone density. This position is for Physician Office Support Services, a division of Torrance Health Association, located in Torrance, CA.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills in order to interact with the physicians, patients, co-workers, and insurance companies. All candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years related experience and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and/or GED certificate, as well as, a MA certification and State of California Limited X-Ray license from an accredited school.

REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include support to the X-Ray Department, and support to the physicians, however, primary duties will be conducting bone density screenings. Knowledge of medical/ procedural terms, diagnostic codes and emergency procedures are mandatory.
