Licensed Psychologist

Streamwood Behavioral Health Services is a multi site organization providing acute inpatient programming, residential treatment, outpatient services as well as therapeutic day schools for children and adolescents with locations throughout Northern Illinois.

Streamwood Behavioral Health Center is the only designated free standing child and adolescent behavioral health facility in the state of Illinois. This 110 bed facility is dedicated to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of the children and adolescents ranging in age from 4-17 years of age. Our inpatient programming focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to providing stabilization and treatment for children and adolescents.

We are currently seeking a contractual Licensed Psychologist to conduct testing for the Will County Board of Mental Health. The Licensed Psychologist is responsible for conducting psychological assessments that contribute to carrying out the treatment program and assigned client care responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, goals and standards of the facility and level of care requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Psy D or PhD in a health care related field of work from an accredited college or university (clinical or educational or school psychology). Two (2) years experience with children/adolescents in a behavioral health setting. Documented completion of course work in the areas of Cognitive Assessment, Projective Assessment, Objective Assessment, Rorschach Assessment, Adolescent, Adult and Child Development, Psychopathology, Biological Basis of Behavior, Ethics, Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and Psychotherapy. Demonstrated clinical leadership in previous work experience. Is dependable, flexible, takes initiative and is willing to accept direction. Able to demonstrate good communication skills. Valid IL driver’s license.
