Licensed Practical/Dialysis Center Description: The heart of Renal Advantage Inc. is each care center with the patients, staff, and physicians. Based in Nashville, TN, RAI operates over 70 outpatient dialysis centers in ten states. RAI care centers provide ESRD patients the option of hemodialysis in a center based environment or supportive training through their home therapy programs. RAI offers: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Disability and Life insurance 401K plan & matchJob Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to the ESRD patients Perform patient assessments, evaluate data and intervene as appropriate Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments of patients with permanent fistulas or grafts, or catheters, if approved be state agencies Administer medications per physician orders Collect patient data including status of vascular accesses, lab work, patient assessments and report changes to RN and Center Director Participate in the care center’s QA/CQI process Perform all duties assigned to the patient care technician
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Current license for LPN/PVN in state of practice; lV certified if state required; successful completion of RAI’s Hemodialysis training program and/or successful passage of RAI’s competency checklist and Hemodialysis.Experience: A minimum of one year of patient care experience preferred.
