Lead Analyst- Clinical Informatics

Baptist Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for the Clinical Informatics Team of the Information Services Department in Louisville. The primary focus will be the implementation and support of the McKesson Horizon Clinicals suite of products in five hospitals across the state. The Lead Analyst will also participate with a team in supporting the following McKesson applicatons: Clin-Doc, Disposables, Horizon Orders and Horizon Care Record. Implementation of Horizon Emergency Care, Expert Documentation and Clinical Profile is also planned.

With 180 staff members and growing, the Information Services Department is strongly supported in the strategic initiative of leveraging technology to improve patient care.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree and six years related experience or 3 years direct experience in lieu of a degree. A background as an RN or other clinical experience with knowledge of a hospital environment is required. Direct experience working with Horizon Clinicals is strongly preferred. This experience may have been gained as a vendor in the healthcare market, direct experience as a nurse or other staff position working in a hospital, or experience in a healthcare IT department.
