Responsible for performing laboratory tests and experiments in a research or test laboratory. Conducts experiments, including chemical and physical tests under written or verbal instructions, and records and reports results. May act as a laboratory operator and operate test equipment requiring skill and precision.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have metallurgy schooling or met lab experience. Job duties include performing the following materials testings and recording results:
spectro chemical analysis, sand testing, metallography, hardness testing, millipore testing, water analysis, tensile testing, induction hardening depth measurement.
