The Integration programmer role is a services position focused on providing McKesson customers with integration programming, planning and strategic assistance. The IP works closely with customers to understand current state application inventory and data flows in the Enterprise, as well as future state Enterprise solutions and develops and manages to the integration methodology for each customer environment. In addition, the IP will work closely with project teams, the customer, and potential 3rd party application vendors to ensure smooth transitions for enterprise integration needs when adding new McKesson or 3rd party solutions into a customer?s enterpriseMinimum Requirements

1.Maintains comprehensive product knowledge.
2.Maintains a working knowledge of HL7, including current releases and standard changes.
3.Coordinates and provides hands-on guidance including:
a.Debugging of interfaces.
b.Definition of interface setups
c.Validation of data
1. Outbound from Encore
2. Inbound to Encore
3. From/to HMS
4.Fixed Record Lengths (TPA, other non-HL7) from/to the engine when necessary
d.Facilitates all phases of interface programming and testing
e.Support of go-live
4.Identifies best practices and opportunities for improvement for interfaces, scrubbing and backloading.
5.Contributes to the project schedule.
a.Reviews and provides updates to the plan
b.Reviews plan to ensure all tasks are included in the plan with appropriate duration and resource assignments
c.Executes tasks on schedule and as assigned
d.Reports status of tasks (% complete) to PM
6.Thoroughly documents all interface implementation activities, including development of supporting interface documentation.
7.Serves as the liaison between both internal and external interface project teams and other relevant McKesson team members. Facilitates customer relations.
8.Leads project team meetings for backloading, scrubbing and interface issues and solutions.
9.Facilitates identification, documentation and resolution of interface issues/impacts.
10.Provides McKesson Project Manager regular status report.

b.Periodic status reports
11.Assists with the development of the go-live plan as it relates to backloading, data scrubbing and interfaces and provides onsite go-live support when necessary.
12.Enters time and expenses into SAP each week and updates forecast in FOCUS; compares forecast to planned hours in SAP.
13.Assists with the ongoing development and updating of the Implementation Guide (Workbook).Education
