ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Pediatric Audiologist and Director of Audiology and Speech Pathology screens hearing of newborns in well baby and NICU. The Pediatric Audiologist will assure that these services will be consistent with the philosophy, goals and standards of quality of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Division and the American Speech and Hearing Association. High School graduate or equivalency certificate. Technical training or equivalency related to experience with otoacoustic emissions equipment as well as automated auditory brainstem response screening equipment. Data entry skills in computer database. Basic understanding of science and adherence to research protocols. Good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well attention to detail. Bilingual, English/Spanish highly desirable.
