Human Health Risk Assessor
CH2M HILL is seeking a Human Health Risk Assessor with over 2 years experience to support projects across the Southeast Region, operating either out of the Gainesville, FL or Houston, TX office.
Position requires a BS in Biology or Environmental Science. The qualified candidate will run statistical software (ProUCL), extract data from Access databases, present numerical data in Excel tables, run lead modeling software (IEUBK, ALM, and J-E Model), compare data to risk-based screening levels, access chemical toxicity data from on-line toxicological databases, and synthesize information. Will work with a team of scientists to analyze site chemical, physical, and biological data according to state, federal and other technical guidance for preparation of human health risk assessment reports. Will work as part of a team to develop cost estimates, schedules, and updates for proposals and projects, and deliver these work products. Good writing skills required. Will work under general direction of mid- and senior-level risk assessors.
job Requirements
Two (2) years experience.
BS in Biology or Environmental Science from a US accredited college or university.
Experience to include, but is not limited to: running statistical software (ProUCL), extracting data from Access databases, presenting numerical data in Excel tables, running lead modeling software (IEUBK, ALM, and J-E Model), comparing data to risk-based screening levels, accessing chemical toxicity data from on-line toxicological databases, and synthesizing information.
Experience should also include, but is not limited to: analyzing site chemical, physical, and biological data according to state, federal and other technical guidance for preparation of human health risk assessment reports and developing cost estimates, schedules, and updates for proposals and projects.
