House Supervisor FT NightsThe House Supervisor assumes shift responsibility for evaluating, corrdinating, and maintaining a safe and effective operation of hospital-wide activities. Assists in the development of systems to enhance and evaluate effectiveness of patient care felivery and hospital operations; reinforces set staffing and operational guidelines established by the Chief Nursing Officer and department managers; practices effective and professional communication techniques with all interactions; enforces and assists in the interpretation of hospital, departmental, and medical staff policies; acts as a clinical resource and consultant to all staff; and maintains awarness of his/her own educational needs and plans for participation in continuing educational programs as necessary. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Texas RN License with a minimum of five years recent clinical experience in nursing and a minimum of one year experience in Charge Nurse/Nurse Manager capacity preferred.. BCLS and ACLS also required.
