We have an immediate opening for a Hospice Director.

Hospice Director
An exempt, senior management position responsible for the general supervision of the Hospice Department's clinical and business operations. The director ensures provision of safe, high-quality care provided by the hospice staff including home care, bereavement, special services, and palliative care. He/she develops and implements nursing objectives, policies, and procedures in conjunction with VNA nursing management and ensures staffing schedules meet client needs. The director acts as a resource and role model to staff and community; provides direction and education of Hospice objectives and philosophy and assures compliance with legal, regulatory and JCAHO requirements and agency policies. The position is full-time and based in the Denver office.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an educational program with a bachelor's degree, preferably in the health care field. Master's Degree in health care, business administration, or related field and home care experience preferred.
