Independently performs, interprets, validates and correlates tests as ordered by physicians by following the approved departmental procedures and in accordance with all regulatory agencies. Determines that the test results meet requirements of the quality control program and if not met, repeats test and ensures the results are approved for reporting. Expected to utilize complex problem solving skills in resolving clinical and instrument problems
