Job Description:

Client is needing Hematology/Oncology physician to work in an outpatient/inpatient basis. Client is needing additional locum tenens coverage while they recruit for a full-time physician.

Responsibilities:

New patient and follow-up consultations
Patient load is 20 per day
Inpatient rounding and consults
Shared call rotation
Order tests and lab work when needed
Refer to specialists when needed
Document patient's visit in Medical Chart

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. degree required
Current Louisiana medical license
Current Federal DEA license
Good communication skills
