Healthcare Food Service Supervisor

Job Description: We are looking for customer focused, high performing Food Service Supervisor to join and support our expanding health system. In addition to working in a dynamic and innovative environment, this candidate must provide excellent quality and care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the provision of cafeteria and patient food services in a safe, timely, profitable and customer-oriented manner.
To coordinate the purchasing, preparation and service of food to all service components of the Food Service Department assuring quality and timeliness to meet customer needs. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Food/Nutrition preferred, or
Dietary Manager Certification required or able to obtain within 2 yrs
2-5 years of direct supervision required
Prior experience in high volume institutional food service required
Serv-Safe certification required
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
