Health Dialog Analytic Solutions (HDAS), located in Portland, Maine with offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire, develops analytic products and services for health plans and employers to identify and reduce unwarranted variation in the real-world delivery of healthcare.

Position Description
The Health Care Data Production Specialist will take primary responsibility for the execution of computer-based data processes for several clients. This position will have primary responsibility for the quality and timeliness of scheduled products such as targeted lists, analytic files, quality assurance reports, and research results. Familiarity with SAS programming language (or experience in another programming language), experience in accessing Oracle or SQL databases, and experience with Excel, are needed for this position. Currently positions are available in offices in Portland, ME, and Boston, MA.

Primary Responsibilities
Receive and process monthly data feeds from clients to incorporate into data warehouse • Using standard reports and other analytic techniques, monitor data quality • Using standardize programs create load files, extracts and reports as needed • Perform research and problem solving as well as respond to questions about client data • Ensure completion of client requests and deliverables according to project deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Familiar with SAS programming language, experienced with SQL, Oracle and Excel • Experience with monitoring data quality at several steps through a process • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment • Careful attention to detail and ability to organize work • Initiative to work independently as well as coordinate work with team members • Flexibility and responsiveness to frequently shifting priorities • Desire to learn and apply new skills and approaches.
