Due to significant growth within our Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D business lines we are seeking the following positions. These positions may be located in Atlanta; Kansas City; Omaha, Nebraska or Urbandale, Iowa.
Strategic Account Manager – We are currently seeking an exceptional self-motivated individual to be our next highly successful Strategic Account Manager. The position is part of Coventry’s growing Individual Business Markets team and will have overall ownership for the relationship with our marketing partners. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for the account management relationship including retention, in-group growth, and the sale of new products and services. The successful individual develops, negotiates, implements and documents marketing and action plan activity with assigned accounts. Must monitor business plans and activities to ensure sales objectives are reached. Position requires 50% Travel.
Demonstrated track record of success in broker marketing and significant experience in distribution channels required. Previous exposure to training and senior market sales a plus. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; ethical sales approach; motivated by desire to please customer, and strong analytic and problem-solving abilities required. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and appropriate licensure to sell insurance. Job Requisition 18957.
Service Manager – Responsible for developing strong business partnerships with senior market brokers and brokerage marketing partners in new accounts to maximize relationship opportunities while responding to and anticipating future needs and services, Establishes strategic plans and sets account goals and objectives for maximum results. Represents purchasers’ perspective and needs internally; reports on significant marketplace developments; identifies service needs and issues in order to develop and implement marketing programs and initiatives.
Considerable previous experience in comparable sales/marketing/account management position in healthcare and insurance industry required. Strong technical knowledge of healthcare industry, marketplace issues and competitors beneficial. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; ethical sales approach; motivated by desire to please customer, and strong analytic and problem-solving abilities required. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and appropriate licensure to sell insurance. Job Requisition 18937.
