HISTOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years full-time experience in Histopathology. Certification as an HT (ASCP) is preferred but not necessary.
SURGICAL PATHOLOGY

This position will perform histology services to include tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, frozen sections, some immunohistochemistry and special stains, muscle and nerve collection, and routine maintenance of stainers and processors. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of histology experience, with HT (ASCP) certification or eligibility as defined by the ASCP. At hire, uncertified candidates must be eligible for HT(ASCP) certification and must obtain certification within 12 months of hire. Work hours are Monday-Friday, day shift, with occasional rotating Saturdays
SKILLS ALSO REQUIRED: MICROTOMY/TISSUE SECTIONING

Full-time, Days, , 8:30am-5:00pm
This position will perform Autopsy/Diener coverage as well as histology services to include tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, frozen sections, some Immunohistochemistry and special stains, muscle and nerve collection, and routine maintenance of stainers and processors. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of histology experience, with HT (ASCP) certification or eligibility as defined by the ASCP. At hire, uncertified candidates must be eligible for HT(ASCP) certification and must obtain certification within 12 months of hire. Work hours are Monday-Friday, day shift, with occasional rotating Histology Saturday coverage or rotating weekend Diener service coverage.
