We currently provide services to more than 2,300 children and adults with developmental disabilities:
Serving nearly 80 communities in Chicago and surrounding suburbsReceiving only 70% of our funding from the governmentProviding services at more than 40 locationsHave just under 600 people on our waiting list for residential servicesRecently named "Member of the Year" by the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF)Spending more than 83% of our total expenses on programs and servicesAre licensed, certified and/or accredited by the Illinois Department of Human Services, the Illinois Department of Public Health, the Illinois Office of Rehabilitation Services, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), NISH and the Department of Labor
YOUR SOCIAL WORK OPPORTUNITYOur direct care staff provides assistance with activities of daily living including, personal hygiene, money management skills, cooking skills, housekeeping skills, and social skills. Qualified individuals must have a valid driver's license. High school diploma/equivalent required.
