Global Account Manager, Medical Segment

SUMMARY:Solectron's Global Account Manager for assigned Medical Segment accounts.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Responsible for development of a global account plan by account based on an in-depth understanding of account financials, product roadmaps, technology roadmaps, exogenous factors and competitive pressures that shows both organic and inorganic growth over a rolling three-year period.2. Develops on-going customer relationship at all levels of the organization to ensure account growth and satisfaction. Comfortable presenting and discussing issues impacting CxOs.3. Prospects and identifies business opportunities utilizing channels and partners where required.4. Interacts closely with customer to understand their worldwide design, manufacturing or services requirements.5. Provides and can articulate technical and administrative information on Solectron's capabilities.6. Engages with operational and technical teams to develop sales strategies and ensures best overall customer solutions are defined and delivered.7. Manages contract negotiations.8. Manages with PM the implementation of customer commitments.9. Has in-depth understanding of medical device industry requirements/directions.10. 50%+ Travel required.
Education / Experience Required:10 years of sales/account management experience, including success developing business with medical electronics manufacturing companies.BA or equivalent required, Masters degree preferred.
