Nydic Open MRI of America, a nationwide leader in the Diagnostic Imaging sector of healthcare industry since 1985, seeks an experienced management professional for its Lincoln and Omaha facilities. General duties include the following:
To provide leadership, training and motivation in implementing the site’s core business development and operations programs and basic philosophical approaches to providing our services in the assigned site to the site personnelTo construct, implement, monitor and enhance strategic operational plans for the site to meet the established profitability goal set forth by Corporate for the assigned siteTo meet with referring accounts to enhance and assist the Business Development Personnel in maintaining relationships with high volume referrers or influential individuals on a local and area levelTo work with National Directors to set performance goals and monitor daily activities within the assigned siteTo assign and perform individual training activities and performance evaluations to enhance the core competencies of the personnel in the assigned siteTo monitor and ensure compliance with local, area and national administrative and legal requirements by all direct and indirect reports in the assigned siteSupervises and coordinates the processing and review of patient medical records for the facilityEnsures compliance of records with relevant regulations and standards, and assists with the preparation of statistical reportsLeads, guides, and trains staff and/or associated clerical support staff in the handling and processing of medical records according to company guidelinesTo analyze revenue trends, operational expenses and sales activities, within the assigned site, to achieve assigned revenue and profitability goalsTo attend and represent the company at local, professional and consumer healthcare shows, if necessaryTo attend and represent the company at contracting meetings on local and area levels for the assigned site, while working in conjunction with the Business Development Personnel, if necessaryTo attend and participate in National and/or Area Field Operations and Sales meetings, annually or as requiredTo take full responsibility for the proper implementation of Reimbursement Department policies and procedures to ensure clean claimsTo develop a working relationship and interact with the assigned National Directors for Field Operations/Sales & Technical, as well as site personnel, in order to enhance teamwork and provide leadership to motivate all Nydic employees to perform to their potentialsTo analyze and manage all site expenditures to maintain budgetary requirements set forth by the Corporation while not compromising customer care or service to our patients and referring accountsTo work with the local site staffs and Corporate personnel to enhance the internal marketing efforts and maintain proper inventory levels of all suppliesTo develop and prepare reports utilizing software: Word, Med. Manager, EXCEL, PowerPoint and ACTDesignated responsibility for Medical RecordsTo work with all site staff to ensure all Corporate policies and procedures and Joint Commission/ACR guidelines are maintained without compromise on a daily basis for the assigned siteSupervisory Responsibilities include the following:
Directly supervises all site employees, while interfacing with the National Directors, Field Operations/Sales & TechnicalCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with HR Policies and Procedures
REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate should possess a degree in business management and/or a healthcare related disciplinePrior experience in all aspects of running a diagnostic imaging or healthcare centerCore competencies required, ensuring the success of the facility should include budget and P/L management, personnel development and management, with an understanding of Joint Commission accreditation processes, healthcare compliance issues, as well as reimbursement and marketing processes and issuesSome travel may be requiredWe offer a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package to qualified individuals.
